Swayambhunath

Swayambhunath Stupa is located in the west valley of Kathmandu on the top of the hill which is an ancient religious temple and Buddhist Temple. It is most popular holy temple in Nepal which also known as Monkey Temple to the tourist in the world because large number of monkeys which are guardian of the temples. Swayambhunath is attractive where as it is most ancient and enigmatic of the entire holy Temple in the Kathmandu valley of Nepal. Historical monument are found to be mysterious as well as it was founded that this temple was build about 2,000 years ago that is before the coming of Buddhism in the valley where few some features of the temple were built by Hindu Kings of Nepal. It is consists of huge number of Buddha stupa and variety shrines and temples which a second only to Boudhanath. Each and everything in stupa is consist with a meaning full result, every object in Temple of Swayambhunath has its own meaning as well as it is full with an ancient atmosphere. Infact Swayambhunath is also a place of master peace. The painting in Stupa is white and golden in color with other different color but most often the swayambhunath temple is colored with golden (yellow) and white color with mixed up.

The architecture its self is amazing, beautiful, master peace, Powerfull, charming, appearance, pleasing and interest one’s thought. Often most of Swayambhunath appearance and iconography comes from the tradition of Newar Buddhism .The appearance of temples gives meaning way result to feeling of profound respect, esteem mingled with fear and affection. The Place is covered with holiness of Buddhism. It is rich in its architecture and arts , so people from different corner of the world come to Nepal for travelling to Swayambhunath Temple which is also listed in the world heritage sites.
